Restrict Application Server Login
Customer and vendor totals statements: The Customer or Vendor Accounting Sum. Rate Tables (KNC1/KNC3 or LFC1/LFC3) do not include the Profit Centre field. Therefore, authorisation control with regard to the profit centre is not possible for evaluations such as the customer and vendor balance lists (transactions FD10N or FK10N).

You can also use the SU53 transaction to centrally view failed permission checks. Open the transaction and go to Permissions > Other Users or F5 to the User Selection menu. Enter the user whose permissions have failed in the field with the same name. In the results list, you can see permissions that have failed for each user, as in our example, the missing permission to display the AGR_1251 table. You can see that more than one authorization object appears in this evaluation.
Change management
To define table permissions in the PFCG transaction, it is not necessarily sufficient to specify the generic table display tools, such as the SE16 or SM30 transactions, in the role menu. The proposed values for these transactions are very general and only provide for the use of the S_TABU_DIS or S_TABU_CLI authorization objects. Explicit values must be entered depending on the tables that you have selected for permission. To explicitly grant access to the tables through the S_TABU_NAM authorization object, you can create a parameter transaction for each table access. For example, a parameter transaction allows you to call tables through the SE16 transaction without having to specify the table name in the selection screen because it is skipped. You can then maintain suggestion values for the parameter transaction you created.

Adapting business processes to legal requirements requires control of users and authorizations. Manage your compliance control permanently without risks. Manage users and their authorizations in all SAP systems centrally and efficiently with our solution for your SAP authorization management: Automatically generate authorization roles for users and assign them.

During go-live, the assignment of necessary authorizations is particularly time-critical. The "Shortcut for SAP systems" application provides functions for this purpose, so that the go-live does not get bogged down because of missing authorizations.

Then click Apply.

If it is a new application, adjust the roles by including the new application in the Role menu, and then maintaining the permissions of the authorization objects loaded into the role by the suggestion values.
