Permissions with Maintenance Status Changed or Manual
In-house role maintenance
The assignment of combinations of critical authorizations (e.g., posting an invoice and starting a payment run), commonly known as "segregation of duties conflicts," must also be reviewed and, if necessary, clarified with those responsible in the business departments as to why these exist in the system. If compensating controls have been implemented for this purpose, it is helpful if the IT department also knows about this so that it can name these controls to the IT auditor. The IT auditor can then pass this information on to his or her auditor colleagues.

This function was not part of the standard delivery. With the support package named in SAP Note 1860162, the transaction SAIS_SEARCH_APPL is now delivered. This transaction allows you to verify that other applications have startup properties similar to those available in a particular application. For example, we searched for applications with similar functionality as the PPOME transaction provides.
SAP systems: Control user authorizations with a concept
Since 2001, SAP has been working with the German-speaking SAP user group (DSAG e. V.) Model rolls for tax inspectors developed and revised over the years. The role definition reflects an interpretation of the DSAG of the concept of tax-relevant data.

The Security Audit Log now logs the table or view name and the scheduled activity of external table access via RFC connections; a new message type has been defined. You can find this fix and an overview of the required support packages in SAP Note 1539105.

During go-live, the assignment of necessary authorizations is particularly time-critical. The "Shortcut for SAP systems" application provides functions for this purpose, so that the go-live does not get bogged down because of missing authorizations.

These can refer to all fields in the FAGLPOSX structure.

Permissions are often not restricted because there is often no information about how the object should be shaped.
