Error analysis for authorizations (part 1)
Secure management of access options in the SAP system is essential for any company. This makes it all the more important to analyze and improve the authorizations assigned. This step serves as optimal preparation for your S/4 HANA migration. Managed Services supports central and efficient administration to ensure an optimal overview. In order to sustainably improve your processes, a database provides information on possible optimizations for SAP licenses.

Look closely at the security advisory so that you can identify the affected programmes or functions and schedule appropriate application tests. Use a test implementation in the SNOTE transaction to identify additional SAP hints that are required for a security advisory and may also contain functional changes.
Maintain table permission groups
This very critical authorization can be used to electronically erase, or manipulate program runs including authorization queries in a variety of ways. This authorization should be assigned only very restrictively, for example developers need the authorization however for their daily work.

The More node details area allows you to configure additional settings. For example, by activating the Default Page setting, the selected transaction (in our example MM03) is called first when the parent folder (in our example of the Material Stems folder) is retrieved. The Invisible setting means that the transaction is not visible in the menu, but can be called from a button.

With "Shortcut for SAP systems" you can automate the assignment of roles after a go-live.

If you remix the PFCG role, you will find that many of the unnecessary permissions objects have disappeared.

The LSMW script works through the import file line by line and thus role by role.
