Dissatisfaction and unclear needs in the process

You probably know this. You find a specific customising table and you don't find it. Include the tables in the guide and they are easy to find. Customising is used by almost every SAP customer. Custom customising tables are created and standard programmes are extended. A custom programme that uses customising is written quickly. Project printing often lacks the time for sufficient documentation, for example in the SAP Solution Manager. The easiest way is to find customising tables where they are in the SAP standard: in the SAP Introductory Guide (IMG).

You can disable this new behaviour for the SAP_ALL profile by setting the customising switch ADD_S_RFCACL to the value YES in the table PRGN_CUST. If the ADD_S_RFCACL entry is YES, SAP_ALL still contains the total permissions for the S_RFCACL authorization object.
User group can be defined as required field
There is a special feature for roles if the corresponding SAP system is based on S/4HANA. While under SAP ERP only roles with authorizations for the GUI system were relevant, corresponding business roles are required for the applications under FIORI. In addition to the roles in which authorization objects and authorization values are entered, so-called business roles are also required.

Over the course of time, many companies experience profound changes in the framework conditions that significantly influence SAP® authorization management. Not uncommon are subsequent requirements from the area of compliance (SOX or similar) or the increased need for protection.

"Shortcut for SAP systems" is a tool that enables the assignment of authorizations even if the IdM system fails.

Are you sure that your compliance is always ensured when using your SAP system? Would you like to make SAP authorization assignment clearer and reduce the manual workload? Our SAP add-on apm creates simplified processes and thus more transparency in your existing SAP authorization management.

It often seems too complex and confusing.
