You can create such an organisational matrix as an Excel file or in ABAP; This depends on how you want to read the data. When using a common standard solution (e.g. SAP Access Control), a corresponding maintenance view is usually offered. In our eCATT test configuration, the prepared file can now be used to play the recording. In the transaction SU01, enter a non-existent user ID and click the Create button (F8). The BAdI BADI_IDENTITY_SU01_CREATE is called with the new user ID. Implementation in the BAdI is running. For example, here you can read additional attributes to the new user from an external data source. The data collected within the BAdIs is written into the fields of the transaction SU01. This will show you the new user master set with the pre-filled fields. You can edit the user master record, such as assign roles, or change the pre-populated fields.

To access business objects or execute SAP transactions, a user requires appropriate authorizations, since business objects or transactions are protected by authorization objects. The authorizations represent instances of the generic authorization objects and are defined according to the employee's activities and responsibilities. The authorizations are combined in an authorization profile that belongs to a role. User administrators then assign the appropriate roles to the employee via the user master record so that the employee can use the respective transactions for his or her tasks in the company.

For the assignment of existing roles, regular authorization workflows require a certain minimum of turnaround time, and not every approver is available at every go-live.
