SP01 Output controller: spool requests
Using profile parameters, we can configure everything in the SAP system. Some parameters are dynamically modifiable, which means that they can be changed without restarting the system. However, these changes are not permanent, i.e. after a system restart, the pre-set profile parameters are used again. Other parameters, however, are static, i.e. only with a restart and only permanently modifiable. Most profile parameters for memory allocation are actually static. However, there is the possibility to adapt it dynamically with the report RSMEMORY. Read how to find out if a parameter is static or dynamic and how to use the RSMEMORY report to dynamically adjust the memory allocation parameters. RZ11 - Maintenance of profile parameters The transaction RZ10 gives us information about profiles, which in turn contain different profile parameters. In the transaction RZ11, however, it is possible to view information about individual parameters, provided that you know their name. As you can read in our Memory Parameter Post, the following 5 parameters are particularly important for memory management: abap/heap_area_total abap/heap_area_dia abap/heap_area_nondia ztta/roll_extension_dia ztta/roll_extension_nondia If you don't know exactly what a parameter might be called, it's worth using the F4 help here. For example, for the parameter abab/heap_area_dia, the RZ11 outputs: Description of the parameter abap/heap_area_dia in the RZ11 As you can see here, it is not a dynamic parameter. Now it is rather sorry if you want to test whether there is enough memory available to restart the system again and again. For this purpose, there is the RSMEMORY report. RSMEMORY - Test your memory allocation strategy Report RSMEMORY Report View No documentation or value help available here, but SAP documentation tells you how to use the report. This first distinguishes between dialogue and non-dialogue work processes. That is, in the first area you can set Extended Memory (Storage Class 1) and Heap Memory (Storage Class 2) for Dialogue Workprocesses, and in the second area you can set it for non-dialogue workprocesses.
Especially after security incidents it may be necessary to find out which (technical) users have logged in at which time. The USR02 table provides a first entry point. In the TRDAT column you can find the last login date for the user you want. However, a history of previous applications is not found in this table. In such cases, the Security Auditlog or SAL helps. Preparation In order to access the desired data, it must also have been saved previously. In the Security Auditlog, you can use various filters to determine which users are logged on which client and which information. The Security Auditlog stores, depending on configuration, logins, RFC calls, and other actions for specific users. You can make these settings in the SM19 transaction. Note: Logging user activity must be aware of the users concerned! Configure the SAL only for technical users or in consultation with users / works council / etc. It can be seen there among other things when the SAL was activated and last edited (1). You can also select the various filters (2), activate the filters individually (3), specify clients and users (4) and specify which activities are logged (5). Static configuration in the SM19 Under the Dynamic Configuration you can also see if SAL is currently active for the system. Determine the status of the SAL Evaluation of the SAL If the Security Audit Log is active, switch to the SM20 evaluation of the Security Audit Log. Select the desired user and client and the appropriate time window. The option Dialogues login is sufficient for the login. Then, restart the AuditLog analysis. Start evaluation You will get an overview of the user's login to the selected client of the system.

Every SAP system evolves over many years. It grows and changes with the company. The more functions are mapped in it and the more data is stored, the greater the importance of and dependence on this central ERP system. There is no such thing as a standard SAP Basis solution. It is developed individually with reference to the company.
You can control the access rights as usual. The big advantage of CMC tab configuration is that you can easily grant or withdraw group access to specific tabs. This gives you the ability to prepare background access permissions and then unlock all permissions by clicking on the CMC tab configuration.
