There are the following types of Support Packages: SPAM/SAINT Update A SPAM/SAINT update (PAT) contains updates and improvements to the SAP Patch Manager and the SAP Add-On Installation Tool. You can also select the various filters (2), activate the filters individually (3), specify clients and users (4) and specify which activities are logged (5). SAP Basis is responsible for the smooth operation of the SAP Basis system. The SAP Basis system is like an operating system for R/3 as well as S/4.
