What is SAP Basis?
By correctly assessing your own applications for suitability for operation with an external service provider or in the cloud, the enterprise risk of the chosen service form is minimised. Also, possible weak points or aspects that require special attention are known and can be dealt with proactively. A negative consequence during the operational operation can be largely excluded.

By establishing a new role concept and building new roles, the SAP basis has the skills necessary to support new tasks and topics as well as to operate new technology and service forms. The relevant roles are listed below.
SAP Basis Introduction and R3 Architecture Overview (in English)
Database layer: All of a company's data is stored in the database, which is located on a database server. Application programs pull the data they need from the database. This data can consist of data tables, applications or system control tables. In addition, the database also takes new information from users and backs it up.

Different events can be used to change to the new or changed role concept. Among other things, the introduction of new technologies can be used to establish, for example, the characteristics of the SME or technology architect. But also fluctuation or new hires are suitable for the conversion and establishment of the new roles. In principle, it is recommended that the new rollers be introduced and implemented successively parallel to the existing operating model.

Tools such as "Shortcut for SAP Systems" are extremely useful in basic administration.

The SAP training content is taught directly on the SAP system.

To run Fiori applications from the launchpad and the permission queries defined in the OData services, the corresponding Fiori permission objects must also be maintained in the PFCG.
