SM02 Create system message
SAP administrators are present wherever SAP systems are used. This is now true for many industries and business sectors. SAP systems can be found in the areas of accounting, cost accounting, activity-based costing and controlling. In all of these areas, they ensure smooth operation and further development, helping the company to make internal processes more efficient and thus save costs and resources.

SAP Basis Support ensures secure operation of the SAP system landscape. For proper operation of the SAP system, the database and operating systems must be checked on a daily basis.
Configure SAP's Transport Management System (TMS)
In order to reduce the variety of different system variations and the related variety of routine tasks, it is necessary to reduce the number of customer specifications. In particular, the implementation, set-up and configuration of the systems and security concepts must be harmonised or returned to the SAP standard. To this end, it is necessary to establish, in cooperation with the relevant IT departments, a standard for, for example, operating systems and databases within the limits set by the product.

In the result table USERTCODE are the transaction codes of the SAP users. Afterwards you simply have to output the complete list via "Object > Output complete list". Then save the list via "System > List > Save > Local file". The column Account contains the SAP user. This way you can see the used transactions grouped by SAP user.

The "Shortcut for SAP Systems" tool is ideal for doing many tasks in the SAP basis more easily and quickly.

SAP Basis Administration Batch Control Job Control A large proportion of batch jobs run at night, while IT systems are available for dialog and online applications during the day.

In the past, when we deployed SAP environments, we first had to work out detailed sizing and architecture and pass this on to the procurement team, who then ordered the systems and installed them in the data center.
